Geocache Description:

This is a 2 l camouflaged lock n lock.

This is a great place for a family outing. Camping is fun, but no RV hookups, just good old fashion tent camping. There are places for fires for cooking or just a campfire Boating and swimming are allowed with usual safety precautions of life jackets suggested when in the water. Rest rooms are also available, but no running water. There are a lot of birds and ducks in the area and this is a stop over for snow geese in March and April, when they are migrating. Really a beautiful sight to see the lake covered with geese. There are a lot of shaded areas around. There is also pheasant hunting during season.

To get there, go thru Yoder off of Rt 85 going south from Torrington. Catch Rt. 152 just out of Yoder and drive STRAIGHT on to RD. 37 which is a gravel road. Follow this road to a Springer Wildlife sign and turn left and drive for about 1 ½ miles. There is lots of parking area, and a gravel section to edge of lake to launch a boat. Enjoy the day..

Congratulations to both "Wielders of Anduril & GusSaves" a combined FTF!!
