Cache will be easy to find but the terraine is uphill with scattered rocks wich is the reason for the rating.
This is a replacement cache for Krissy's Straight Lake Cache which came up missing. Giving it a two and one-half star terraine rating because of climb and some loose rocks. Not a handicap cache. Cache is an ammo box loaded with assorted goodies placed near the Withlacoochie BAY Trail of the Cross Florida Greenway. Be advised that this is prime snake country and a great place to catch them sunning. Watch your feet and have a stick to punch around before placing hands to retrieve cache.
When she was a little tyke, my Granddaughter who lived in Orlando where there are many lakes of different shapes, uses to refer to the canal as the straight lake, when she came to the Withlacoochie for a visit. Therefore, the name of the cache. At the cache site, you get a good view of the surrounding area. There is a pavillian close by to relax in and do a little fishing if you like. Have fun and enjoy this beautiful park.
