A tribute to the men and women of Kansas who answered the
Nation's call to defend our freedom in the U.S. Armed Forces and
Merchant Marines, from World War I to Vietnam.
With respect to the nature of this park, I did not feel it would
be appropriate to place a regular cache here. But it is a great
place to visit and reflect on those who gave the last full measure
of devotion.
This is a log-only micro, bring your own pencil, ball-point pen,
PDA stylus, key... Previous caches I placed at this site were
muggled, so I have created a new hide that was inspired by a cache
I found in Plano, TX, as well as by that of another local cache of
this type.
This cache is for all those that are always forgetting to bring
a pen to these log-only-micros.
I have given this a difficulty rating of 2, based on the
deceptive nature of a cache like this. Experienced cachers will
probably find this far less difficult. There is no need to stomp
through the bushes on this one, there is a clear path to it. Please
respect the area and have fun!
