All Aboard
Got your ticket? Come find this beautifully restored station where the “resorters” from Chicago and southern Michigan would arrive to spend their summers in the beautiful Hotels that developed along the shores of Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. Opened in 1892, it served for many years until automobile travel outpaced the train. The Historical Society is now housed in this facility which is surrounded by a new, glorious garden. You do not have to disturb any plantings or climb any banks.
You are looking for a camo painted 2 quart screw top container. Bring a picnic and your beach towel and plan to spend some time enjoying this lovely park. High muggle area, especially on warm summer days.
