Con ocasión del Primer Cache Event de la Comunidad de Madrid el 1
de Julio 2006, se ha puesto disponible este cache, cerca del Puerto
de Canencia, en donde también se puede dejar el coche.
El punto de
aparcamiento más cercano al cache se sitúa en las inmediaciones
de
N40º52.525,
W003º46.656
desde donde se
puede alcanzar el cache tras un bonito paseo remontando el Arroyo
del Sestil, de aproximadamente 15 minutos de duración. También se
puede llegar disfrutando de un paseo más largo desde el alto del
puerto, cogiendo primero el GR10 y desviándonos luego a la derecha
por la senda ecológica.
El paseo
discurre por uno de los dos únicos bosques de abedules existentes
en nuestra comunidad, en una fresca umbría de Canencia, donde el
Abedul se ve acompañado de otras especies como el tejo, serbal,
acebo, roble, fresno, sauce, o enebro, y el Arroyo del Sestil nos
deja vistosas pozas y remansos de agua cristalina.

Cache Event. Después se queda disponible para todos.

On the occation of the First Event Cache of the Comunidad de Madrid
on 1st of July 2006, a new cache is available close by Puerto de
Canencia, where you also can leave your car.
The parking
area closest to the cache is located in the environs of
N40º52.525,
W003º46.656
where it is
possible to reach the cache after a beatiful walk overcoming the
Stream of the Sestil, of approximately 15 minutes of duration. Also
it is possible arrive there enjoying a longer stroll from the main
parking area of the mountain port, taking first the GR10 way, and
leaving it to the right by the 'Ecologic Footpath'. The walk runs
by one of the only two existing forests of birches in our
community, in a fresh shade of Canencia, where those Birches are
accompanied of other species as the holly, rivet, ash, willow, or
juniper, and the Stream of the Sestil leaves crystalline
wbackwaters.
Note:
This cache will be published first at 1st of July 2006 for the
Cache Event, but later remain available for anyone.
