Zwischen den Ortschaften Rott und Haid liegt ein verträumtes,
kleines Nest namens Schellschwang. So ziemlich genau da, wo sich
Fuchs und Igel gute Nacht sagen. Oder wars Hase und Fuchs, oder
Igel und Hase? Ich schätze mal alle zusammen.
Nest hin oder her, es hat eine eigene Bushaltestelle. Damit
lässt es sich auch ohne KFZ prima von Weilheim aus erreichen.
Der Bauernhof der Fam. Rohrmoser ist auch für Kinder ganz toll
zum Urlaub machen. Es gibt einige Ponys und Haflinger zum
ausreiten.
Vom Startpunkt hat man die Wahl zwischen 2 Möglichkeiten, die
beide zum Ziel führen. (Man kann die eine hin und die andere
Strecke zurück. Ist ein netter Rundweg mit ca. 2.2km). Bis 100m vor
den Cache kann man ganz normale landwirtschaftliche Wege
beschreiten. Weitere 80m würde ich als forstwirtschaftl. Weg
bezeichnen der auch noch gut mit Kinderwagen mit großen Rädern zu
befahren ist (update: Der Weg ist mittlerweile so zugewachsen, das
nur sportliche Kinderwagenschieber durchkommen). Nur die
allerletzten 20m sind querfeldein. Bei entsprechendem Wetter
könnten die Wege matschig sein!
Es muss in keinem Fall eine Weide betreten oder ein Zaun
überklettert werden!

Between the towns Rott and Haid is a nice little town called
Schellschwang. Exactly where rabbit and fox say good night to each
other.
Yes, it's a very small town. But guess what, it has it's own
busstop. So you can reach it via Weilheim and you get a nice little
ride over the beautiful countryside.
One of the farms in Schellschwang is perfect to make vacation
with kids. It belongs to the family Rohrmoser and they got Ponys
and Haflinger horses.
The startpoint of the cache has two possible ways to follow. You
can take each. (Or both, because it is a nice roundtrip of
2.2km).
The ways are easy to walk up to 100m to the cache. From there on
a trail in the wood is to follow. Only the last 20m to the cache
are offroad. In bad weather conditions the trails could be
muddy!
You never have to climb any fences and you don't have to go
on the pasture!
