The day starts at 10:00 AM and lasts until the park closes
down.
This is the second annual event for Salem Area Geocaching
Association. This year we are non-profit and all on our
own. The day will be filled with fun, family oriented
events and is wheelchair friendly.

11:00 AM Beginner's GPS Class

11:00 AM Tour of Cascade Gateway Park
11:30 AM Beginner's Geocaching Class
12:00 PM Picnic (Bring and share munchies)
1:00 PM Games
Pop-A-Tots (Kids Game)
Balloons will have numbers in them, kids will be given a
balloon to sit on and pop. Lots of trinkets for the kids
to choose from!
Plant the Flag
$1.00 entry per flag, game of chance, try your luck!
A 50 ft circle with numbered stakes placed around it,
place your flag where you think the intersecting point
will be. At the end of the day kids will draw four numbers
from a hat to create an intersecting point, the flag closest
to that point WINS!
Micro Cache Hunt
50 film canisters will be hidden in a select area in the park.
Find a film canister and bring it back (one at a time). Answer
a GEO-Trivia question and earn a point. Some canisters have
FREE POINTS. Earn the most points to win prizes.

Come on over for our raffle, we have obtained a brand-new GPS
and many other exciting prizes.
As you enter the Cascade Gateway Park, cross the bridge and stay
to the left.
There will be signs and lots of folks milling about!!!!
So, come on by the Capitol City and have some fun with your
fellow geoCachers!
