Nothing much to this one. Just a big, cammo-colored, 50-cal
ammobox in the woods. Cache is filled with all kinds of new items,
a few travel bugs, logbook and pens. The hike to the cache is a
short one, but you'll definitely work your leg muscels some.
This cache is located within the Pine Mountain Recreation Area
just off the West Loop hiking trail. There is a parking area for
this section of the trails located at N34 10.520 W084 45.220
The tree canopy here makes a strong GPS signal hard to obtain. I
took a 200 waypoint combined average for this one, but I think the
best you'll get is within 25-30 feet of the cache. As such, I have
rated the cache accordingly. You may just have to use your good ole
geocaching skills to find this one.
Once finished please rehide and recover the cache. I don't want
to read stories in future logs of neglectful cachers leaving the
ammocan out in the wide open and uncovered. Thanks & enjoy!
