Short, steep climb, but on a very good stone path, almost like a flight of stairs, then there’s a Surprise View!
There’s parking for a couple of cars at the start of the path up or you can park as for the Bowder Stone/Grange Fell Cave/Louise’s Gift caches.
On the way up to place Louise’s Gift cache, we stopped for a breather, turned around and WOW what a view and you know the rest, out with a cache box so 2 for 1 on this one. We didn’t make it a multi so if you don’t have time to go to the top, you can still enjoy this one and we hope you do. The Title reflects the similarity in appearance to the Bowder Stone at the hiding place (in miniature) not the degree of difficulty that the Bowder Stone cache has inspired.
