"Orientation – position with
relation to the points of the compass.”
With all this GPSing, PDAing,
GoogleMapping, and drive-up microcaching I sometimes think we have
lost what I consider the point of Geocaching; to get outside and
use our legs and our wits and our sense of adventure to have some
fun and get some exercise.
To find this cache you will need to use your feet, your GPS, and
your compass (that’s right, a COMPASS) to find the final
cache. To reward your efforts I have placed a LARGE, fully
stocked ammo can at the final location. The total round-trip
walking distance is about 3 miles. To locate three of the cache
locations you will need to use the compass bearing and distance
from your current location. At each location you will find the
information necessary direct you to the next stage.
This is a very nice area for dog-walking, bird-watching, or
mountain biking. But, be prepared for an adventure. This cache will
likely take over two hours (if walking) and can be very hot and
exposed in the summer time.
Remember, I used a compass, so all
directions are in MAGNETIC North.
Congratulations to Team Sharpseekers for
F.T.F!
Congratulations to Nylimb for making this
his 1000th FIND!
