Geocache Description:

The Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake, will host the 135th Open Championship of golf from 20th – 23rd July 2006. This will be the 11th time the club has hosted this prestigious event.

To have your chance of winning the Geocache Open Championship Claret Jug, you must first complete a round of 9 caches, each located close to a Wirral golf course.

This is one of these caches, close to Brackenwood G C. It contains two ‘hole cards’, which provide the hole number, name, distance, par and the shots taken (in golfing terms eg birdie). Enter these details on to your scorecard as you will need them for the tenth and final cache – “The Open - Royal Liverpool GC : The Claret Jug”

As it is one of the first 6 holes on your round, it also contains part of the co-ordinates you require to complete one of holes 7, 8 or 9. Track your progress on this chart.

The above co-ordinates are NOT of the cache. The cache can be found at N 53 20.KKK W 003 01.LLL

Up to & including 2005, Tiger Woods has the lowest score vs par (minus 19). What was his 4 round total score? (Use numbers in brackets as KKK to complete the northern co-ordinates of the cache)

Location Question:
To the right of the entrance at the listed co-ordinates you will no longer find the yellow hydrant sign. You will however find a rusty plaque on the wall with HYDRANT on it, but how many letters are there on the top line of text? (Use numbers in brackets as LLL to complete the western co-ordinates of the cache)
