Cache is located in Tygarts Forest.
Cache is a regular sized container that is camoflauged. It is well hidden right off a marked trail. It contains a log book, pen, pencil, and various other items.
Cache was placed during ESSO's annual picnic at Carter Caves Resort State Park. The memebers and friends who placed the cache are: Brian Saul, Jacki & Audri Straton, Stacy & Mathew Long, Brian Queen, Cindy Duncan, Jeremy Chapman, Kay Pritt, and Jim & Vinvent Schwamberger. Placing the cache was a great time and only way it could have been better is without the rain.
Please use caution when going to this cache during hunting season. It is not far off the road and trail, but the forest is open to hunters.
The best way to get to the forest and cache location is thru Carter Caves Resort Park. Turn right at the top of the hill and again between the campground and mini-golf. Follow the road past the horse stables and it will take you directly into the forest. There is parking right at the begining of the forest if you want a nice easy hike out the gravel road or there is room for several cars at the trail head. The trail head coords are given below in the waypoints.
If you get a chance to or from the cache please stop and visit the park. It offers lots of great activities and beautiful sceanery.
