Geocache Description:

The Silvery Slocan Heritage Tour is approximately 235 kms long. Be prepared for breath taking scenery as you take a step back in time. The tour will take you through the towns of Nelson, Kalso, New Denver, as well as through the "Valley of the Ghosts". The loop can be driven in four hours - with NO CACHING. You MIGHT be able to find the series of caches in one day but we strongly suggest that you spend two days as there are so many things to see and do along the way.

New Denver
originally named Eldorado, is another picturesque location along the Slocan Lake. Be sure to watch for views of the New Denver Glacier located across the water in Valhalla Park. If you have time visit the Slocan Museum and the Nikkei Internment Center. There is lakeside camping available at the Centennial Park Campground.

The cache is located behind the Silvery Slocan Heritage Tour signs. You are looking for a medium lock n'lock. The coords were really bouncy so we have added a very good hint.

There are 14 caches that you will need to visit - in any order - to find "Silvery Slocan Heritage Tour - Pay Dirt". At ten of the cache sites you will find a clue that is written on the first page of the log book as well as on the lid. Write this clue down. Four of the caches do not have a clue - but we're not going to tell you which caches those are.

Since this segment is also a standalone cache, you are of course welcome to just log this cache if you don't have time to take the complete tour.
