Where did Robinhood and his group of Merry Men live? Sherwood Forest of course. While this hunt won't take you to the forest, you can come close by walking through a beautiful wooded area known as Sherwood Park in Nottingham Township. A newly paved path will take you around the park as you search for the cache. Sherwood Park has a baseball field, picnic shelter, new playground, basketball courts and of course a nice paved walking/bike trail. Park is open from dusk to dawn.
This is a 2 stage mini-puzzle cache. Now don't panic, this isn't a difficult puzzle and you should have no problems. You will find ample parking close to the stage 1 coordinates (top of page). You are looking for a camo painted lock n' lock container about 4" x 6". Take a slip of paper from the stage 1 container, read instructions on how to figure out coordinates for the final cache location. Final cache is larger camo lock n' lock container with the usual nice selection of swag. PLEASE be sure to close the lid on the lock n' lock container at stage 1 so the contents don't get wet. Please note in your online log if more slips are needed for stage 1.
