Geocache Description:

Relatively easy cache - any car can get within 300 feet and a two-track road will take you within 50 feet.

You are looking for an ammo can with some trinkets in it for trading. Also included in the ammo can is the original cache container (urine sample container - yes it was clean and had never been used by the way for those wondering) and I invite all cachers to leave a business card or geocaching card in there. I started it off with one of mine...I'll check in from time to time to see what kinds of folks make up our geocaching community here.

This cache is located in the ghost town of Cumberland. I highly recommend reading up on it (visit link) - (great reading and lots of pictures) before going to the cache site as it makes it even more fascinating to imagine that so much was there and yet so little remains. Cache is up on a hill that overlooks the area that used to be Cumberland. Cache can be accessed via a good 2wd dirt road off Hwy 412. Further down highway 412, you'll see the only remaining buildings from Cumberland - the Ziller ranch house and saloon building. While you are in the area, stop by the Cumberland Cemetary about a mile to the northwest just off US 189 - another interesting site - most of the graves are children. Cache site may not be accessible in some of the winter months.
