Geocache Description:

This location isn't quite as spooky as a recent cache we placed. It is located in a muddy area though. Be prepared to get dirty. For goodness sake, don't wear your best sneakers.

The cache is located in a very nice park area. The best approach is to enjoy the boardwalks. You can find access from the RV park or the picnic areas. The first 2/3 of the way is rating 1. The last 250 feet or so is where you get dirty.

We placed this cache a couple of days after some pretty hard rains in the area. The cache location was muddy but not under water. However, this area is prone to being under water when the creek rises out of it's banks.

Spring Creek Park offers about a mile of boardwalk and trail inching their way through some beautiful landscape. Part of the boardwalk overlooks the creek. Be sure to explore all of it.

The cache is located in close proximity to a wonderful cypress specimen. It is an awesome site to behold.

Be careful, it's really slippery after it rains. Also, be sure to pack the skeeter repellent. Those things will tote you out of there.
