The cache is located in the Harvey Randall
Wickes Park. This park is where we found our second cache and it
looked like there was room for a couple more! This township park
has a couple of small lakes, a playground, quite a few ball
diamonds, and a cross country course. Park is open year round
and the gates close 1/2 hour before darkness.
This cache was placed by our 11 year old son. It is a large
"Coy-Chev" ammo can (that we purchased at the Harrison Spring
event) and will accomodate large trade items and Travel Bugs.
You will want to park off the McCarty Road entrance (sorry, forgot
to get some coords for it!).
The terrain rating is based on walking on the
path past the cache and coming back in from the south side. If you
head down the hill making for a shorter walk it would be a higher
rating. (When we placed the cache there was standing water at the
bottom of the hill, so that was not an option when we placed the
cache.)
