Geocache Description:


This is BB's 37th Hide.

You can see both caves and graves from here. The cave closest to you is a bit muddy and squeezy. Unless you are a nimble and thin caver you have absolutely no chance of getting through to the deeper sections. The cave concerned is named Quarry cave.

Up across the road is Graveyard cave, so named because of the graves situated next to it. The graves belong to Dugald Steele and Ellen Hogarth. Poor Dugald met a most unfortunate fate when he was only 16. I'll let you find out what it is.

I strongly recommend that you don't enter these caves unless you have satisfied the following criteria.

1) Have permission to do so.
2) Have experience in vertical, maze like caves.
3) Are able to navigate successfully underground without maps.
4) Have all the necessary gear.

Only a fool would venture in without all of the above...
