From Hwy. 29 you gradually make your way
up the access road to the top. There are no real steep spots but
the road is rocky so hiking boots are recommended. To grab all the
caches on the trail, expect about 11 miles of hiking. During the
hike you can make out the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Diablo, Snow Mt., Mt.
Shasta, the Sierras and a lot more, so bring some binoculars along
and take in the awesome views.
This cache is hidden near communication towers on the south peak of
Mt. St. Helena.
The cache is a 30 cal. ammo can and is hidden under some
rocks.
Remember the elements and plan your hike
accordingly.
