Slinky's Home Traditional Cache
greenwoodfamily: Sadly we went to try to find it and couldn't so can only assume it has indeed been muggled when the lack of foliage made it easy to spot. Sorry for those who have made a wasted journey.

Just off the Trent Valley Way - which is a well used riverside walk in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside.
To get to this cache you can pick any number of parking places within easy reach of the Trent Valley Way. If you choose to start at Gunthorpe there are several nice pubs to set you on your way or welcome you back.
The cache is just about 2.5 miles from the Unicorn Pub carpark at Gunthorpe heading downstream.
The cache is on the downstream side of a gate but as there are several gates on the way you will need your GPS to get to the right one ....
Once through the gate turn your back on the river and take 24 paces up the footpath and start your hunt.
