Geocache Description:

Small cache near beautiful Middleton Place house and garden.

The cache is a small opaque cylinder with an exchangeable item inside. The drive to the site is very easy on the eyes. The terrain itself is a bit soft but otherwise level and safe from traffic.

Highway 61 is narrow and frequently busy. THE CACHE IS NOT HIDDEN ON THE ROAD NOR IS IT ON THE GROUNDS OF MIDDETON. DO NOT PARK BESIDE THE ROAD. THAT WOULD BE UNSAFE. The encrypted clue will get you close enough for a visual inspection of the area which should reveal your intended treasure.

FYI, Arthur Middleton, by whom the home was built, was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. A rare copy of the Declaration is on display in his home.
