This is a drive-up regular sized cache on the Trans Canada Hwy, when approaching Banff National Park from the east.
This is an easy roadside micro cache a short distance outside the Banff National Park Boundary on the Trans Canada Hwy. The cache is accessed when you are travelling west, which is convenient for visitors coming to the park from Canmore or Calgary.
With physical and virtual caches no longer being possible in the National Parks, I wanted to still allow cachers visiting the area, the opportunity to experience caching in the mountains in Canada. I love finding at least one cache when on holidays and want to give others the same opportunity.
I hope this cache will attract many cachers from around the world, and I invite you to mention the province, state or country from which you are visiting when logging your find.
The cache is a camotaped matchstick holder with a log book inside. Please bring your own pencil.
UPDATE: July 26th 2009:
Revisited the site and changed the cache container to a regular sized tupperware type containing some small tradeables. Should be a really easy find now. Enjoy!
