Change of Venue - Now you can join us on the banks of a river in the shade of trees to swap stories and meet others with the same obsession of traipsing over hill and dale in search of....
This location was our first choice but we were worried about the rafting traffic coming down the White Salmon. We checked it out this weekend and decided to change the venue. As CB & BB said, the other location can be very warm.
About 2ish on 30 July. Big pile of fried chicken supplied. You can bring whatever you desire. There are prizes for this and that. Bring any and all TBs. The Hula Girl will be looking for a new owner.
Location is Northwestern Lake on the White Salmon. You can get there from either Rt 141 thru White Salmon or Alt 141 that comes right up the White Salmon River. The turn off to Northwestern Lake is 2 miles north of the Rt 141 - Alt 141 split. Go down the hill and across the bridge and turn left into the parking and picnic area. We will have an area set up at the far end of the picnic area. Look for the orange Element.
There is a dock for swimming or splashing in the river - dogs can go swimming,too. There is a cache "Buck Creek Stroll - GCPCFE" just up the road and we will try to find a spot for another cache in the area.
