1775-1783: The History of The American Revolution

We hold these truths to be self-evident,
That all men are created equal...
That they are endowed by their creator
With certain unalienable Rights,
That among these are
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

To find the geocache:
Park at the church and find the marker of this revolutionary hero (posted coords) Observe the death year. The 2nd & 3rd digit of this year will be your distance in feet to the geocache. To find the bearing, take the 3rd digit of the death year and the 3rd digit of his birth year. Put these two numbers together respectfully. Now you know the distance and the bearing to the geocache.
This geocache is available only during daylight hours and the container is a small canister with room for micro SWAG. You'll need to bring a pen to sign the log. Leave a note on the cache page to the condition of the stone, so if mold has grown the next cacher may elect to bring some soapy water and brush away the displacement. Thanks for helping preserve our heritage! If you find fallen or worn US flags at the graves of veterans, please take a moment to upright or replace them. (You can purchase flags at the major retail stores). Dispose of worn US flags in a respectable manner. As always, be respectful, and cache in, trash out. God Bless our troops in harm's way.
As with all of my caches, re-hide like/better than you found the cache and please don’t give any advantages in your log so everyone as the same experience as the FTF.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798
