Geocache Description:

Hidden in an old overgrown quarry, on the road to Riber. Suitable for a quick drive through with only limited walking, albeit rough underfoot. The signal is deflected by the overhanging trees so some patient searching may be required.

The cache is wrapped in a black plastic bag. The Cache itself is a sealed plastic tube containing goodies left from a Caravan Rally held just over the hill by the Derbyshire Centre of the Caravan Club. This was their introduction to Geocaching by two regular searchers, and two teams found the hidden container.

This is best approached on the footpaths from Dethick where there is adequate parking, and superb countryside walks.
