This is a new cache....and our first one. We have been visiting
caches for a bit and decided to set one of our own. This is one of
only 2 or 3 caches in Trout Creek. Since we like finding larger
caches with trading items, we tried to make this one similar to
such.
The trail is easy to walk.
Their is NO BUSHWHACKING involved of any kind.
The container is easy enough to find...within one foot of main
trail. However, it is camoed pretty well...make sure to hide it
back in same location and exactly as you found it....unless of
course it was exposed somehow by passerby critters or such, in
which case you should try to camo it back so as to not be seen
Started with beaded necklaces, Log book, ca$h money football,
Hard Rock Casino poker chips and such.
Follow the road into the park all the way to the end. Stay to
the right when you come to any and all the forks in road and park
as far back into the rear right corner of parking area as you can.
There is a picnic shelter near the rear corner of the parking area.
The trail to this cache begins right near this picnic shelter. IF
you try to come in to this cache from the wrong trail, it could
prove impossible to get to from the very heavy and dense ground
foliage here. IMPORTANT!! PLEASE, do not try to attempt this from
the wrong trail as destroying the foliage and serious
trailblazing would be involved and
IS NOT TOLERATED in this area. Probably the most important
information to remember for this cache is that
if the trail doesn't take you RIGHT to the cache, you are on
the wrong trail!
WATCH FOR SNAKES!!
