Rainy Day Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 15 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

The storms we've had in the Houston area over the last several days have left parts of town flooded, and others just really, really soggy. Needless to say, it has put a real damper on my caching activity. :(

Normally I prefer to do caches that require a bit of a hike on a non-paved surface, but several times over the last few days I've found myself wishing for more caches that wouldn't, given the recent rains, require hip-length wading boots. :P

I figure other cachers must feel the same way, so I've placed a cache that will NOT require you to slosh through any swamps. Later this summer, when things have dried out and you're tempted to stay indoors to avoid the oppressive heat, you'll be able to do this cache in air conditioned comfort! (Provided, of course, that your vehicle has air conditioning!) :)

Please bring your own writing utensil to sign the log, as the cache does not contain one. In addition to the log I've included a couple of small trinkets, and a "Found It!" pin for the first-to-find.

Happy hunting, and STAY DRY!
