Geocache Description:

Camo painted Tea tin. East side of More Mesa. Puente drive, closest access.

I ran across this years ago, when there was just one little gravestone. Now there is this cute little childrens pet cemetery. Stop a moment and remember the joy of childhood pets. Help out and pull a few weeds, just around the markers to keep it clear. Plastic flowers would be appropriate, don't you think? My favorite pet was our dog Buffy. Tell about your favorite childhood pet in your log entry. (PLEASE respect this area, it means a lot to some kids).
Now, more about More Mesa namesake, T. Wallace More. Early in the '1850's T. Wallace More obtained title to an immense tract of the richest land in the region; he claimed over thirty miles along the Santa Clara river, creating the Sespe ranch. On March 23, 1877, just 3 years after building his mesa wharf T. W. More was murdered by F. A. Sprague and his gang of squatters on sespe ranch. By the end of the 19th century the More family ownership of Santa Rosa island came to a close, as Vail & Vickers began their acquisition of fractional interests the Island from More family heirs.
