The terrain after leaving the rails to trails is mostly uphill. Dress for ticks!
This cache is similar to caches like "Over the Mountain" and "Mountian Goat". In fact, part of the original contents of this cache include the remains of "Mountain Goat" log book. If you know Scrappydo, please take it to him.
If you are hiking, parking at 41N 21.364, 078W 49.097 and walking the rail trail will be your best bet. Once you get to Coward Run, there is a trail bearing South East along Coward. Follow this trail to an old gas road. Bear right at this road and follow it around. The cache will be on another gas road bearing to the left of the road you are on. If you are mountain biking, you can take the route just mentioned or park at 41N 21.263, 078W 48.863 and bike on the gated game commission road. When you reach the top of the big hill take the second road to the right.
Note that this cache is located on State Game Lands. Please abide by all rules pertaining to these lands. Information can be found at www.pgc.state.pa.us. You may want to wear flourescent orange clothing when searching for this cache regardless of the time of year. However, please wear it during the months between October and February.
The cache is a plastic box about half the size of a 50mm ammo can. If you bring a trade, please take something as it is jam packed.
