I travel to and from work along this highway nearly every day. When I started geocaching, I often thought how great it would be to have some caches to search for on my way home. Caches have now been hidden on both sides of this road between Wilson and Kenly, so geocachers may stop and search while traveling in either direction.
This cache is located in the Heart of Tobacco Country, so stealth will be extremely important as you search for it.
Searching for a cache in this small town will be a challenge, because local residents will definitely notice strangers in the area, especially those who appear to be "snooping around" noticeable landmarks.
In order to stay out of danger of passing vehicles, it may be wise to park a slight distance away from the cache location and take a short walk. It is not necessary to step in the flower bed in order to retrieve the cache.
The cache is log only, so bring your own writing tool.
