Read on below for the updates: The Princess had written the following regarding this cache; it is preserved here for posterity: "When you get to the location Really where else would it be?? okay this is an older cache of the Princess but I now have a great story to go along with such an easy cache and dash. Okay so there was a street sign like a stop sign I am sure, someone had ran into it or something, it was half scraped off in one place. Hence the name Ouch... film container in the hole you all know the type. Well we were flying by the location today going home from a long hot day caching, when my brain engaged and said HEY that was a METAL POST....so we preceded to turn around and go back and check it out because of COURSE the cache is missing and I will have to hide it differently, blah blah blah...we drive up, They had poured concrete and put a metal posted stop sign in......THE FILM CONTAINER was sitting against the post and when I picked it up, you could see the crease in the cement where they had sat it there when the cement was still wet. LOL Just sitting in plain site at the bottom of a brand new sign. I could not believe my eyes. so the cache is there." (Adoptee story: We checked on this cache on 12Jun10; we parked right next to the cache, B hopped out, grabbed the container, then as he stood up and turned toward the car, his temple connected with the edge of the open door ... hard. OUCH! So this is an appropriately named cache!) All is good and well... well, the film can is gone... yet again! Therefore this is now a NON-FILM CAN cache, and no longer is it a Cache and Dash! The difficulty is now a 2, which we hope reflects the increased difficulty in finding this cache.
