NOTE: COORDINATES FOR THE FIRST STAGE WERE UPDATED
ON 7/15/06: N44 50.821 W085 26.977.

The picture below (digitally enhanced)
was taken by my great uncle Captain Long John Sabertooth over 50
years ago. The good old Captain left the picture to me in his will.
Could this picture have a direct correlation to the abundance of
old wood planks that are currently in the water at the beach in at
the Maple Bay Preserve?? I always wondered how Captain Long John
Sabertooth always seemed to live well, but never had any visible
source of income. I remember as a kid the old Captain secretly
roaming the beaches along East Bay at night and always wondered
why. My dad always said the old Captain was crazy. I just thought
he was eccentric. His last words were to me were cryptic and
slurred before he passed on: “Sonny boy gonna make yeez a fortoon
in that thar maple seerup pre-serve. Yer Spot da dog can digger
up….” Those words have haunted me ever since. And now I have the
picture. Could this be the area?? Is it somewhere else??? Is there
a treasure to be found???? Was Captain Long John Sabertooth truly
insane?????

A WORD OF CAUTION: the treasure in the
final stage is perpetually guarded by "Pirate Bendy," a ferocious
Travel Bug and a direct descendent of Gumby and Pokey.
