The Cache is located at the very spacious Mississippi State Fairgrounds. Let the fun begin.
Welcome to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. You have 3 things to do before you can sign the logbook. Go to the following 3 coordinates and answer the questions. Using your answers fill in the missing final coordinates.
1. Horse shows are a big deal here at the Fairgrounds; so make your way to the horse pens at these coordinates… N32 18.169 W 90 10.330 How many posts make up the “round” holding/walking pen?
2. One other major thing here at the Fairgrounds is the annual state fair. Make your way to the sky gondola at these coordinates N 32 17.980 W 90 10.608 How many numbered support beams make up the sky gondola?
3. Last, but equally important to the fair ground is one of the event buildings. This is just a hop skip and a jump from the gondola, so head on over to these coordinates N 32 17.966 W 90 10.504 How many letters make up the 3-word description of this building?
Now that you are done let’s try some basic math to find our final coordinates.
N 32 AA.BBB
W 90 CC.CCC
We will do an easy problem first.
1. Subtract the total from question 1 from 35. Use this 2-digit number to replace (AA).
Lets try a harder one.
2. Multiply 88 and the answer from question 2 and then add 4. Use this 3-digit number to replace (BBB).
Okay last one is a good one.
3. Divide 224.133 by the answer from question 3. Use this 5-digit decimal to replace (CC.CCC).
