This cache is located near the old stone bridge covering the small
sandstone stream of Rapid Run. The bridge, built around 1911, was
part of the County Highway known locally as Fourteen Miles or Brush
Valley Road.
Since then the highway has been relocated to its current
location leaving the bridge idle except for the occasional hiker
that travels along the park trails.
Due to the tree cover and the surrounding mountains, it may take
awhile for the GPS to settle down. Therefore the coordinates I have
posted are not pin point accurate, but will give a fair location to
search from.
