Geocache Description:

The cache is a small water bottle located at the outskirts of R.B Winter State Park. This cache should be easily found under 10 to 15 minutes. There is pull off and a small picinic area nearby. Although there is pencils in the cache I recommend you bring your own and please leave the space in the container for passing by geocoins.

This cache is located near the old stone bridge covering the small sandstone stream of Rapid Run. The bridge, built around 1911, was part of the County Highway known locally as Fourteen Miles or Brush Valley Road.

Since then the highway has been relocated to its current location leaving the bridge idle except for the occasional hiker that travels along the park trails.

Due to the tree cover and the surrounding mountains, it may take awhile for the GPS to settle down. Therefore the coordinates I have posted are not pin point accurate, but will give a fair location to search from.
