Geocache Description:

Located in Painted Bluffs Provincial Park (see http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/painted.html ). Best access is via boat from Savona and landing at N 50 47.562 W 120 45.100 At this location you will find a sandy beach. There is a short uphill hike to the park.

Be aware that this is desert country with prickly pear cactus in abundance, there are no trails but you can quite easily work your way through the sagebrush. On our short walk to the park (5 minutes) we found a 42" rattlesnake skin and also old cougar tracks in the dry mud, so be aware but not afraid. We don't recommend this cache for very young children unless you can carry them. We carried Gill (our dog) through the desert patch until we reached the park where he he was then able to navigate without problems. This is a very wild and delicate area so please be careful and leave trace of your visit.

Gill's Stash Cache has been placed in a tupperware type container and when hidden contained the following:

- 1 pair of binoculars
- 2 cargo clips
- 1 miniature flashlight
- 1 small screwdriver
- 1 letter opener
- 1 staple remover
- 1 BC Forest Service sticker
- 1 bar of Glycerine soap

First finder gets the binoculars. Please trade to keep this a quality cash.
