REASONS
FOR THIS CACHE:
This cache spot offers great views of the south parts of the east
valley. I recommend going in the evening, just as the sun is going
down or in the early morning as the sun is coming up. For those of
you who like to search out
benchmarks, this is a great location because there are a bunch
of them close by. One reason I placed this cache here is because I
drive past here almost daily and I hope to see cachers seeking out
my cache.
CACHE
DESCRIPTION: A
little past halfway up the side of the Twin Knolls. This is a great
place for those big travel bugs that just don’t fit into
those urban micros.
DESCRIPTION OF CACHE
CONTAINER: This is
probably one of the largest cache containers aside from ones at
peoples’ houses. It is a 6 gallon bucket.
FTF
PRIZE, FINDER & ORIGINAL CONTENTS: The FTF prize is a free ice cream cone so
hurry before it melts everywhere and a free root beer token.
Congrats to The DogCachers for the
ftf. Original contents are
bubbles, a couple of Frisbees, a tube of squishy stuff, a roll on
ink stamper, a couple decks of mini playing cards, some charms, a
cool light up wand, a keychain, a mini sonic smash and a stuffed
sponge bob square pants.
NOTES
& OTHER INFO:
The best way to the cache is from the parking lot off of Apache Trl
just south-east of the cache and from there it is about 220 feet to
the cache with an 80 foot elevation difference. DO NOT take the
access road to the top, there are “no trespassing”
signs and cachers who have taken this route reported taking the
road to the top and walking down to the cache was way more
difficult any way. Please don't hesitate to drop off travel bugs
here even if you've been here before. And just the same if you want
to come back to pick up travel bugs.
PICTURE
RESTRICTIONS: Please feel free to post any pictures
you would like but please do not disclose the immediate location of
the cache.
