Bake Oven Traditional Cache

No! Not a real oven you bake in!! The cache is located some where on Bake Oven Dune, a hard packed dune located in Bake Oven Meadow and Monachee Meadow. It is in an easy four wheel drive area for quading, dirt bikes or hiking in. A beautiful area with grassy meadows rugged mountains and The South Fork of the Kern River, National Designated Wild and Scenic River. Not an area you can access much in the winter snow.
Driving on the dune is restricted to the well marked road only. You will need to park and walk just a short easy distance to the find.
Lots of great swag to trade. Sun block, little bear, adjustable wrench, wine bottle stopper, colored stones, small car, Music C/D, Bubbles, bungee cord, deck of playing cards, dice, whistle key chain, Cadillac key chain, and the some times needed personal size roll of Charmin bathroom tissue (don’t be caught out in the wilderness with out it!).
