The above co-ordinates are for the suggested parking and the cache can be found within 1 mile of these. You will need to work out the co-ordinates in advance and then it’s just a short walk to the exact location of the cache.
The area this cache has been set in is an historic mining area. An information board is located close to the mine chimney at the top of the hill that describes some of the history and there are fabulous views of Chimney Rock from here.
The colours must be arranged in the correct order in a line. Only when the colours are in the correct order will you be able to work out the exact location of the cache
Purple is two right of grey
Blue is three right from Black
Pink is four right from turquoise
Turquoise is far left
Green is three right of grey
Red is four right of yellow
Orange is five left of grey
Yellow is two left of blue
Black is two left of pink
Grey is one left of red
Once you have all the colours in a line in the correct order, you then need to translate the colours into numbers with 1 – 9 on the left and 0 on the right.

The cache is a 0.7 litre clip-lock container that has been hidden inside a camouflaged bag. On setting the cache, it contained a logbook and pencil, a few items to swap and £1 for the FTF. This area is popular with dog walkers and children, please be stealthy when re-hiding the cache to make sure it doesn’t go walking!
