Boxie Trot is a traditional cache placed on Brimmond hill, the hill itself is nearly 900 feet high, Boxie is the shortname for Bucksburn, called by local folks.
The car parking & gate are at N57 10.905 - W002 14.005 proceed up the hill by the tarmac road. Its a fantastic walk and the views at the top are absolutely superb, One of the best views of Aberdeen in the whole area, you can easily see Aberdeen airport, Harbour, Bennachie, lots of Aberdeen-shire & Kingswells. If you walk to N57 10.341 - W002 14.308 you will have the best views & the highest spot of the hill, the walk up to the top takes approx 15 minutes so the whole cache is acheivable in under an hour.
