Geocache Description:

This is a very pretty lake which happens to have a fish ladder at the end connecting it to a creek. We couldn't find any details on it other then it's a nice place to visit and have a picnic. Heading from Sparwood to Elkford drive till you see a Elk Valley Coal Line Creek Operations sign you want to turn "right" here and drive down the paved road till you cross a bridge. Right after the bridge turn "right" again onto a dirt road. Drive 2.6 km's to a left turn up another dirt road till you cross a train track about 1 km. From the train track to Grave lake is about 2.2 km's. You'll pass a sigh saying Main Beach with an arrow to the right the beach is about 1 km passed this point. Make a Left hand turn down a short hill to the lake where you can soak and cool off. (Depending on the time of year) Once you've relaxed head back onto the same road and turn left. You'll go through an open yellow gate on your left. You want to stay on this road for about 3 km's. The road has a Y ahead simply follow the road straight ahead. You're GPS will lead you the rest of the way. Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to take lots of pictures!
