Welcome to the 3rd cache by "Blatherskite".
A steep climb, but the view is worth it!
The location of this cache is at an elevation of nearly 400 metres in a town founded in 1836 that is steep in history, and is home to the โAshesโ.
It is not recommended for people with cardiac problems or get short of breathe quickly.
You will need STRONG walking shoes or boots and be physically fit as the terrain is very steep, rough and rocky.
If/when you find the cache, take some time to take in the views that extend for over 70km in most directions.
The City of Melbourne can be seen clearly to the south, and the Port Phillip Heads can be seen with the aid of binoculars, and I recommend you take a pair with you.
Also, take something to drink, as I mentioned it is a physical climb.
Care should be used when searching during the warmer months as snakes may be present.
Original contents of the cache are:
Notebook and pen.
Packet of 4 AA batteries.
A glue stick.
A protractor.
A toy car that IS NOT a FORD.
and a pencil sharpener.
PLEASE HIDE IT WELL SO THAT WILD ANIMALS CANNOT FIND OR DISTURB IT.
BYO Pen, and can you please leave a message that outlines your experience in locating the cache rather than a one word or acronym message
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY GEOCACHING......
