Marvelous View From McIlroy Traditional Cache
Deceangi: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

The cache is located in a meadow, and there is a bit of a steep climb to access. There is a tarmac access path (corner of Pottery Road and Norcot Road), but you could also enter through woodland.
The cache is a 1 litre 'Tupperware' type box. the contents at placement are:
Children's sunglasses
4 x McDonald's toy figures
A yoyo keyring
Log book
Pencil
Good places to park would be Wealden Way or Pottery Road, next to the Tyler's Rest pub (Harvester) off Norcot Road.
After you follow the path up to the meadow, there are fantastic views of Reading, the Thames and Oxfordshire.
It's quite popular with dog walkers, but normally fairly quiet.
