If you are visiting the North Woods, this is a nice spot to stop
for a picnic lunch by the river.
You are looking for an ammo can container
containing a variety of tools and a log book. The easiest way to
get here is from Rt. 11 through the 6 Mile Checkpoint on the
Pinkham Road. You can also access the spot from the south on the
Pinkham road. This is a fee road costing about $5.00 during the
summer. The road is a sharp shale, so bring (at least) 1 spare
tire, just in case. The cache is within 300 feet of the parking lot
for the picnic area. Enjoy the path to the river and enjoy the
woods!
