A Walk By The Pond Traditional Cache

Located on the River Valley Trail. Take the road that goes past the city dump (Frizzi Road). This road can be slippery and washed out in the spring or after heavy rain. The road winds you down into the river valley to a bridge. From the bridge it is flat and will take you to the parking co-ordinates. 52 09.694N 122 13.041W
This is a good sized Ammo Case. The first to find Prize is $5.00. It has an assortment of goodies in it. I have raised the difficulty level of the terrain because the raod in can be washed out and because there is a few steps of steep terrain but the walk is on the beautiful river valley trail and is is not steep. This one will be great for children to walk and they will enjoy the pond area there is usually lots of wild life. We saw what looked like a pelcan and a mother duck and ducklings when we placed the cache. You may even want to plan to walk further down the trail. There was a cache at the end of the trail that is currently disabled but the trip to the end is a nice walk or bike and well worth it whether there is a cache there or not.
