STOP AND THINK Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 15 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

Please do not place travel bugs, geocoins or other special items in this cache. It is a good size and a good location for that, but someone has noticed it's use for that purpose and is checking periodically and taking those items. I am looking for another location to move it real soon.

The management of this business decorates their property for every holiday/season in a fun-filled and lighthearted way. This cache is wheelchair accessible and will be one that your small children will enjoy because of the decorations, no mosquitos or briars and hardly any walking.
This year this business is taking a more serious look at the Fourth of July and it is not all fireworks and red, white and blue bunting. On the northeast side of the building is the reconstruction of a scene that our military personnel deal with every day. It makes you stop and think.
They did ask that we don't disturb the sand and of course the cache would not be there anyway.
The Fourth of July display will be taken down soon and replaced with decorations for the next holiday so stop by to see the military display while you can, but the cache is there permanently.
Because they have so graciously agreed to let us place a cache on their property, please do not abuse this privilege. The display takes up a good bit of their parking, so if you are caching during business hours, please park appropriately. In fact, there is parking for one or two vehicles on the side street.
The cache is a 4x7” lock and lock that contains a set of toy soldiers, patriotic coozie, Texas/USA bandana, deck of cards, bowling game, geocaching bracelet and a Geocaching FTF pin.
