At an altitude of 6,907 ft., this cache is located at the Southern portion of the intersection of US 395 & Hwy 120-East in the Eastern Sierra’s. It's accessible from both roads. The cache is a log-only with a pencil that's camouflaged to match its surroundings.
On this site is the grave of the unknown prospector. A reminder of the great sacrifices made by our ancestors who explored and settled the Western frontier. And especially to the memory to each and all of the pioneers of Mono County whose resting place is know only to God. May they rest in peace.
