Geocache Description:

Jones Pond Road has been a favorite walking trail of ours for almost 30 years. It's changing however with a housing development on the lower end. It's a quiet sheltered walking trail that runs from Torbay Road to Marine Drive.

You can access the trail in two ways. From Torbay Road, as you come down over Piperstock Hill, you can turn on to Jones Pond Road. It's just below the funeral home. Drive in a very short distance and turn right on to a meadow to park your vehicle. Even though the sign may say Jones Pond Road, it's only an access trail. Drive slowly and carefully. I would not suggest you drive in the trail. After all, it will ruin a great walk. You can also enter from the lower end. From Marine Drive, turn on to Torquay Place. Go straight in and turn left on to Ellacombe Place. At the end of Ellacombe, turn right on to the cull-de-sac and park your vehicle. Cache is 0.37km from that position.

Follow along the Jones Pond trail but eventually you will have to take a side trail that leads to Jones Pond.

Enjoy the trail and in September/October, take time to pick a few blueberries.

Cache is a screw top plastic container with original contents:

1 Key chain flashlight
2 Coast Guard pens
1 Lady bug pen
1 T-light candle
1 Package of playing cards
1 Plastic dinosaur
