Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

Tin popcorn can filled with outdoor-related goodies (including one of my favorite fishing lures) and wrapped with duck tape.

One day an old woman was walking down a dusty West Texas road when she spotted a crippled rattlesnake lying in the road. The venomous creature had been run over, and was bedraggled and close to death. The old woman took pity on the snake; she picked it up and cradled it in her arms. She took it back to her hut, where she fed it and nursed it back to health. She came to love the snake, which she kept in a basket under her bed. Each evening she would take the snake out of the basket and cuddle it close to her breast, singing and talking softly. One day the snake suddenly bit the old woman, not once but twice, then a third time and a fourth! The old woman felt the venom spreading through her body, and knew she was going to die. She said to the snake, “Why? I saved you from death; I took you home and nursed you back to health. I came to love you.” The snake replied, “Lady, you knew I was a rattlesnake when you picked me up.”
