This is not like my other "BP" caches as (1.) it is NOT a
micro/nano, (2.) it is a multi-cache and (3.) it is about a 2.5
mile walk round-trip. But the walk is very flat, well-shaded, and
should be fun for everyone. There may be a stop (or two) that is a
little harder, so come prepared for anything.
The Biltmore Park greenway system is for the use of Biltmore
Park residents and their guests. Nobody in my family has ever been
"carded" while walking, jogging or biking on the trails, but if
asked you are there at the invitation of a resident. As you will be
walking near some private residences please respect all property
boundaries. And try to do this during daylight hours. [And I'm
talking to YOU johnboy!!!] The greenway is used during all hours of
the day so please be careful/discreet as you search.
There are a total of five stops along the way -- four
intermediate waypoints leading to the final cache. The posted
coordinates are for the first stop. Each waypoint has the
coordinates for the next stop, and they are all thin magnetic
strips. You will not have to venture far off of the greenway
trails in order to find any stage, except for the final cache. [If
you are having trouble with the fourth stage try subtracting
0.013 from the latitude and adding 0.002 to the longtitude
coordinates I provided.] [If you are having trouble finding the
final cache try subtracting 0.009 from both the latitude and
longitude coordinates I provided.] Do NOT cross any barbed wire
fences while searching for the final!!!
The cache container is a large Lock&Lock, and is filled with
a number of inexpensive trade items and a few travel bugs. Please
rehide it so that it is impossible to see!
