Geocache Description:

Adjacent to roadway, under bush. Cacher must go down into ditch and duck under bush. Visible but one must look close.

This creature, of the Ornithorhynchidae family, was said to have hidden this cache decades ago. Near to Laguna Creek, this is not surprising. However, a code has been provided of a desination: JP 1973.

You can find this cache with some sharp investigatin'. You can pull over near Laguna Creek. Mid morning hours to early afternoon there are less drivers pushing the speed limit here. You can pull over when eastbound in front of the gate.

Crouch low because Monotremata are low centered, besides being featured on the reverse of the Australian 20-cent coin, our friend found it necessary to make you reach for it and felt it would be easier to locate especially for those cachers known to have a sense of electroception.

Try to be FTF. Cache can handle small TB's. Try to get this cache during a quieter, non traffic peak, time of day.

Benchmark nearby, 1C-60. Elev. 54.97 The cache is approx at 47 ft Elev.

Happy caching.
